A Soft Pink & Floral Girl’s Room

We really love a simple & bright neutral room design with soft pops of color!

When we first started discussing the vision for this space, our client knew she wanted a special accent wall. After going through several different options of wallpaper patterns and colors, we decided on a dainty pastel watercolor floral mural. We paired the mural with a creamy white board and batten which created a stunning focal point for the room. The accent wall is clearly the star of the show in this space and it totally elevated the entire room.

The room was already filled with the existing bedroom furniture pieces that my client’s daughter has had since she was a newborn. The bed frame was originally a crib that was later converted to a full size bed. We gave the existing peachy pink bedding a glow up by layering on a few textured botanical/floral patterned throw pillows and a plush, cozy throw blanket.

To warm up the white furnishings, we added natural tones, a variety of textures, and gold accents through out. By simply switching out the existing white knobs on the dresser and nightstand to the golden brushed knobs, it gave the furniture pieces a more modern and enhanced look.

Another star stunner of the room - this dreamy blush pink canopy! The canopy has a soft tulle fabric that gives a whimsical and magical design aesthetic to the space. There is now a perfect cozy corner in the room for reading, playing, or lounging in! We added another touch of whimsy to the room with the curtain panels that offers so much texture and elegance.

The closet makeover turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the room. A little went a long way with the process by simply adding storage and organization. We maximized the closet space with a shelving unit & seagrass baskets at the bottom that offers lots of storage for a variety of child-related items (including hidden storage for toys!). Larger baskets were placed on the top shelf to hold extra blankets and sentimental items. The closet is now well-organized and functional!

Our client first came to us because she was stuck on how to complete the overall aesthetic for the room. Lots of thoughtful elements were added to this space that in the end brought her vision to life. This girls’ room now has a fresh new look that she’ll be able to grow into for many years :)
