A Scandi Boho Nursery

Before this room became a nursery for a sweet baby girl, it was a catch-all room for all sorts of things!

Phase 1 of this room project was decluttering and organizing.
Almost everything that existed in this space either went to trash, donated, or organized by like items and moved out of the room.

Once we had a clean slate of the room, we began phase 2 of the room - the design! Our client has a beautifully patterned wall tapestry that she got from a trip to Guatemala. The tapestry is a special piece that is very near and dear to her heart and she wanted it to be incorporated into the room design.

We built the look of the room around this unique piece and we were so inspired by its vibrant colors. Shades of pink and light wood tones were used as the base for the overall color scheme and added in accents of mustard yellow and shades of blue for a fun pop!

We really wanted this space to function well for baby, while bringing simplicity and happiness to a very hardworking mama.
